  1.                           Pen for OS/2 device drivers

  3. Make a temporary directory on disk, and extract pendd.zip to that directory by
  4. using pkunzip.  You will see several zip files in that directory.
  5.  
  6. Each zip file is a separate device driver with install scripts for Pen for OS/2.

  8.    710T.ZIP     IBM710t drivers
  9.    750P.ZIP     IBM750P drivers
  10.    APT.ZIP      APT Gliffic Plus drivers
  11.    CALC.ZIP     Calcomp digitizers Beta level
  12.    COMPAQ.ZIP   Compaq Concerto Beta level
  13.    DTR1.ZIP     Dauphin DTR-1 Beta level
  14.    GRID.ZIP     GRiD convertibles Beta level

  16. Select the device driver(s) that you need.Extract the files to your a: drive or
  17. to a directory using the -d option for pkunzip.

  19.   Example: pkunzip compaq.zip -d a:

  21. Next run select the Pen for OS/2 Install object from the Pen for OS/2 folder
  22. (or run pinstall from the command line).  Select the Install Pen device drivers
  23. option, and select OK.

  25. When it prompts for the device driver disk, insert it in drive a: (if you made a
  26. device driver disk), or select the drive and directory that you unzipped the
  27. archive to.  Next select Install.  A new window will open up, select the proper
  28. device, and the destination drive and path.  Select Install, and when it is
  29. done, reboot. Your pen should be active after the reboot.
